OUR FOCUS

JJS Capital Group focuses on special situations in which an owner of an asset needs to monetize the asset either by selling or borrowing against it in a time sensitive fashion. While the majority of deals to date have been real estate centric, JJS Capital Group also considers operating companies under similar circumstances. While traditional financial institutions are unable or unwilling to invest in non-traditional assets, JJS Capital Group is able to invest in assets across all classes with speed. We stress due diligence and diversification to excel in today's volatile market. To date, JJS Capital Group has financed deals solely with its own capital thereby allowing for quick decisions and closing timelines.

We use local and institutional contacts for deal flow and emphasize in-depth analysis to maximize returns and minimize risks while leveraging a broad network of strategic partners and decades of experience. We emphasize a thorough due diligence process and will never invest in an area we do not fully understand.

We use in-house and trusted third parties to analyze each transaction. We identify trusted professionals resident where the asset is situated, both to ensure creditable due diligence and to assist in managing the asset if we decide to proceed. We spend the requisite time to understand and identify the risks inherent in the deal. We then use our nearly 40 years of experience to mitigate risks and ensure returns are commensurate with the risks remaining. 

As a lean family office, we leverage off our strong relations with financial institutions, real estate professionals, tax advisors and other family office principals to assess and manage our deals.
